Just built my Shapeoko XXL. Everything seems to be working right as I have cut a few items.
The one thing that does not seem right is when the machine is homing.
As an example if I have everything set to the center point and activate homing, the Z axis
does it's double movement, The Y axis goes to the back of the machine, and X moves right.
When X gets to the right, the switch closes, than backs off. The Y closes as the stepper
buzzes for a couple of seconds and then backs off and opens the switch.
If I operate the Y switch before it reaches the back and hold it closed, X homes and everything
stops without the buzzing. I placed a wood block next to the belt so the Y will close before
reaching the back of the track it still buzzes and then backs off.
Is this normal?
Thanks for any help you can give me.
