Can you please attach the file so I can see what's causing this?

Release notes V3.29

A new version V3.29 is available for free download on my dropbox. -> bit.ly/2xF1KJ8_GrblGru_Release
Most of the changes concern the lathe operation. The coordinate system has been adapted to the standardized XZ system.
Creating jobs now works in the same way as when milling. Now also templates for turning chamfers and radii have been added.
Suggestions for other useful templates are welcome. :)

When milling, internal geometry data can now also be exported as SVG and G-Code can be imported as data.
I also started to include OpenSCAD.

Have fun with GrblGru

Release note GrblGru V3.30

I am pleased to announce that GrblGru is now also available in Russian.
Many thanks to my friend 'Jony_Silver' for his hard translation work and his help in revising the menu items and tool tips.

First, thanks for the perfect program!
Could you answer the important questions for me?
1. GrblGru stops the simulation of my NC and displays the message:
"Grbl error 20: Unsupported or invalid command..."
How to determine who does not support the command - GRBL controller or GrblGru program?
2. What is the "Stock" panel for? Changing its parameters does not lead to any changes. But I'd like to declare all dimentions of the stock.
Best regards, Alex!

1.
The error "Grbl error 20" is reported by Grbl when an unknown command is received (e.g. m6).
GrblGru then interrupts the running program and displays a corresponding error message.
The user can then decide whether he wants to continue or quit the program.
The command that triggered the error is displayed in the left controller window.
If you are sure that the unknown commands are not important for your program,
you can suppress the error message 20 in the settings. No more error messages will be displayed.

2.
Unfortunately, the "stock" panel is currently only intended for you to use GrblGru as your CAM program.
For example, if you load a DXF or SVG file, the required dimensions of the stock will be calculated automatically.
You can only add an offset. But I will change this in the next versions so that you can enter the dimensions as well.
Then you can use this if you have the GCode calculated by another program.

Your machine model looks great. Have you ever thought about making it available to other users?
I would like to include it in the GrblGru machine park.

I consider it an honor that you want to include my model in your release :)
My model can be simplified - in fact for GrblGru does not require high detail.
I exported it from the full model created in SolidWorks
Download address:
https://cnc1310.ru/content/files/GrblGru_CNC1310.zip
https://www.dropbox.com/s/83711h6oiaxsy ... NC1310.zip
If nesessary to make changes - please inform me.
Do you mind that I popularizing GrblGru on my website https://cnc1310.ru?
I also made a video with your program: https://youtu.be/UtbnSlRjpK8
P.S. GrblGru does not have a website? In my opinion, this program is worthy of its own website!
Best regards, Alex.

That's great. Thanks a lot.

Maybe you have the model in another format ? (igs or step). Unfortunately I can't read STLs into my CAD system (only output)
As you already said, I would like to simplify the model a little bit so that it can be displayed a little faster.

And of course I am happy if you mention GrblGru on your website. :)

Yes, I would also like to have my own website. But unfortunately this is not for free :(

Hi!
I converted model to STEP https://www.dropbox.com/sh/fo49ycd7dc3y02l/AACaklLVwOJmY2R4xNS7QQW5a?dl=0
But in another format the coordinates of the zero point can be wrong.
I corrected them after exporting from SolidWorks to STL format.

P.S. I made myself a website for free, because I was C# programmer :)
Currently there are a lot of constructors and platforms for simple website design.
For example - WordPress.
Hosting costs me $3 per month.
Best regards, Alex.

@Alexmoon
I still have questions about your 3D model. I sent you a PM about it.

I have included an area on my forums just for GrblGru if you would like a dedicated area for discussions.
