Cutting on the diagonal

Postby Jeff » Tue Jun 05, 2018 12:37 pm

I want to cut out a shape of a boat oar.
It needs to be longer than 32 " needs to be36" .I was wondering to know how to set the up the shape to be able to cut it out.
Would I need to use a xy dimension the size of the cutting area and then put the oar design on it and rotate it to fit diagonally on the work piece.

Yes, if it will fit, that's the most straight-forward way to do it --- just rotate the geometry which you wish to cut.
