Build Errors

Post by apopj » Fri Mar 08, 2019 3:07 pm

Just a couple of quick notes....

Just received my Shapeoko 3 XXL, in the process of assembly. Just a couple of errors in the instructions.....

1. Installing the Y-Axis Drag Chain Bracket#: My unit only had the two lower spacers installed. It says to loosen the TWO screws, but there was only one. I found a spacer in one of the bags and used it to mount the bracket. If that spacer is needed further into the build, assembly will be delayed while waiting for replacement...

2. During inventory, the zip ties and cleaning pads were not in the box listed. they were in a different box. Not a biggie but just wanted to list it.

Also, while you can figure out the drag chain routing, it is a bit confusing. Perhaps a picture of the entire chain system in that section of assembly would help.

So, back to assembly... wish me luck.
